“Precious treasure and oil are in the dwelling of a wise person, but a fool consumes them.” — Proverbs 21:20

Wisdom in the markets requires patience, careful stewardship, and the discipline to observe before acting. It is an absolutely thrilling week on Wall Street, and the energy surrounding the AI infrastructure build-out is palpable. The sheer velocity of capital deployment right now is breathtaking, making it hard not to feel a surge of adrenaline when looking at this week’s data.

Here is a breakdown of the top plays capturing Wall Street’s attention this week.

CoreWeave ($CRWV)

Massive Earnings Beat & Margin Inflection

CoreWeave shares surged nearly 16% in after-hours trading this week following a massive Q2 2026 report. Revenue more than doubled year-over-year to $2.58 billion. Crucially, the company posted adjusted operating income of $128 million, easily beating guidance. This proved to investors that fixed-cost-heavy AI infrastructure investments are finally gaining operating leverage. It is immensely satisfying to watch a company execute on its promises with this level of precision!

Explosive AI Demand & Backlog

Full-year 2026 revenue guidance was raised to between $12.4 billion and $13.2 billion. With a formal backlog expanding to over $104 billion and roughly 500 megawatts of active power added during the quarter, the market is closely watching how fast new data centers can be brought online to meet red-hot AI demand.

Levels to watch out for short-term: Upside above $109.33, and downside below $103.32. The conviction behind these numbers suggests serious momentum, making this a top-tier name to track.

Super Micro Computer ($SMCI)

Blowout Forward Guidance

Super Micro Computer’s stock rallied roughly 9% following its Q4 fiscal 2026 earnings report. While Q4 gross margins compressed to 10.8%, expectations were completely reset by a stunning fiscal 2027 revenue forecast of $65 billion to $72 billion—obliterating Wall Street’s $54.4 billion consensus. Seeing a forecast shatter expectations by such a wide margin brings a genuine sense of awe to the trading floor.

Dominance in AI Server Infrastructure

The market is watching SMCI as it continues to capitalize brilliantly on the accelerated build-out of data centers. Leadership in deploying next-generation GPUs and modular AI infrastructure—particularly advanced liquid cooling technologies—solidifies a critical position as a hardware supplier for AI hyperscalers.

Levels to watch out for short-term: Upside above $34.84, and downside below $33.94. This looks like a phenomenal setup for those tracking data center growth.

Coherent ($COHR)

Pending Earnings Catalyst

Coherent is scheduled to report its fiscal Q4 2026 earnings after the market closes on Wednesday, August 12. The stock has run up sharply ahead of the print, fueled by bullish analyst upgrades and extraordinarily high expectations for optical component demand. Anticipation is running incredibly high, and the pre-earnings momentum feels electric.

AI Datacenter Hardware Play

Investors are hyper-focused on Coherent’s optical circuit switches (OCS) and transceiver growth, which remain absolutely vital components for AI networking. Market watchers will be heavily scrutinizing gross margins, looking for strong forward guidance that validates an accelerating growth trajectory in the AI infrastructure supply chain. This is one earnings call that simply cannot be missed!
