Hey everyone,
Welcome back to the Stock Region watchlist! Before we dive in, a quick but important heads-up: The information in this newsletter is for educational and entertainment purposes only. I’m sharing my personal watchlist and opinions, but this is not financial advice. Always do your own research before making any investment decisions.
Now, let’s get to the good stuff. The market is buzzing, and a few names are making some serious noise. This week, it’s all about the AI powerhouses and a key player in the EV revolution. Here are the stocks that have my full attention.
1. Alibaba ($BABA) - The AI Dragon Awakens
I’ve been watching Alibaba closely, and what they announced recently is a game-changer. They’re partnering with Nvidia and just dropped their new AI model, Qwen3-Max, which is an absolute beast with over a trillion parameters. This isn’t just keeping up; this is a move to lead the pack in AI.
On top of that, they’re expanding their global data center footprint into new markets and pouring over $53 billion into their AI and cloud infrastructure. To me, this shows incredible confidence in their long-term vision. Alibaba feels like it’s waking up, and it could be a powerful ride.
Levels: I’m watching for a potential breakout above $179.50. On the flip side, a drop below $173.92 might signal some short-term weakness.
2. Micron ($MU) - Riding the AI Hardware Wave
Wow. Just wow. Micron’s latest earnings report was a sight to behold. A 46% jump in year-over-year revenue is no small feat. They are at the heart of the AI explosion, supplying essential memory chips to giants like Nvidia and AMD. When those companies win, Micron wins.
Their outlook is incredibly strong, and it feels like they are perfectly positioned to capitalize on the relentless demand for AI hardware. You can’t build the AI future without memory, and Micron is a critical supplier. I see so much momentum here.
3. Lithium Americas ($LAC) - Fueling the Future
Let’s switch gears from AI to the electric vehicle boom. Lithium is the new oil, and demand isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Lithium Americas is a name that keeps popping up on my radar because of its strategic position.
With major projects in both North and South America, they are setting themselves up to be a crucial supplier for the battery production that powers our EV future. It’s a grittier, more fundamental play compared to the high-flying tech stocks, but the long-term story is compelling. I’m keeping a very close eye on this one as the world continues to go electric.
Levels: A move over $5.35 could catch my interest for an upside run. I’d be more cautious if it falls below $4.90.
4. Oracle ($ORCL) - The Enterprise AI Titan
Oracle might not always get the same flashy headlines as other tech companies, but don’t sleep on them. They are methodically and effectively integrating AI into their cloud services, making them indispensable to their enterprise clients.
Their recent earnings were solid, proving that their cloud and AI strategy is paying off. Oracle is a true titan in the tech industry, and their continued focus on high-value enterprise AI solutions gives them a powerful, long-lasting competitive edge. It’s a steady giant that just keeps innovating.
Levels: I’m looking for strength above $328.33. A dip below $292.18 might suggest a pullback is in order.
That’s all for this week! These are the companies that I believe are making significant moves and have exciting stories unfolding. Keep them on your radar, do your homework, and happy trading!
Best,
