Good morning, Stock Region readers! 🚀
Grab your coffee (or tea) and settle in, because we’ve got an action-packed watchlist for you today. From surprising leadership changes to an exciting new EV model, and even some stock levels to watch, you’re going to want to keep these four companies on your radar this week. Let's get into it!
Table of Contents
Kenvue ($KVUE) – Leadership shake-ups and upcoming earnings.
Rivian ($RIVN) – A leaner operation with big plans on the horizon.
Affirm ($AFRM) – Massive trading volume and global expansion.
SolarEdge Technologies ($SEDG) – Mixed signals but steady growth.
Kenvue ($KVUE) – Change Is in the Air
Big moves are happening at Kenvue! CEO Thibaut Mongon recently stepped down, and drumroll, please—Kirk L. Perry has stepped in as interim CEO. You know what they say, "new leadership, new possibilities," but this change also leaves a bit of uncertainty for investors.
What’s even more compelling? Kenvue is dusting off its portfolio and exploring ways to unlock shareholder value, teaming up with heavy-hitters like Centerview Partners and McKinsey. Honestly, the proactive approach is exciting, and I’m curious to see which brands they double down on.
Mark your calendars—Q2 earnings drop on August 7, 2025, and with preliminary estimates already released, the suspense is building. 📉 Pay attention to key levels this week: upside above $22.60 and downside below $21.70. A breakout could shake things up!
Rivian ($RIVN) – A Leaner, Meaner EV Machine
Okay, Rivian fans, take a deep breath. The company laid off 1% of its workforce recently, a hard pill to swallow, yes, but also a sign they’re laser-focused on efficiency. Why does this matter? Because their much-anticipated R2 model is poised to be THE affordable EV when it launches in 2026. Fingers crossed that “affordable” and “cool” can co-exist!
Now, here's a little hiccup—Rivian delivered 19,301 vehicles in the first half of 2025, a 30% drop year-over-year. I’ll admit, it stings a little, but the company remains confident about hitting its full-year guidance. 🚗 Keep an eye on $13.33 for a potential upside and $12.75 for downside risks.
Also, can we talk about their expansion plans? Rivian in Europe by 2027 sounds like a road trip dream waiting to happen!
Affirm ($AFRM) – Growing, Fast and Loud
Have you checked Affirm lately? The fintech darling saw a trading frenzy last week with $532 million worth of shares swapping hands on July 11. That’s a lot of buzz, folks! 💸
Partnerships are the name of the game for Affirm, from Costco to other major retailers. Here’s a fun stat to impress your friends with at lunch—94% of Affirm’s transactions come from repeat customers. That’s loyalty right there.
Now, here’s what has me really intrigued—Affirm is expanding into Europe and even eyeing gaming as a high-growth vertical. Talk about thinking outside the box. 👏 Their fiscal 2025 earnings are also projected to improve by 101.8%, so there’s definitely momentum here. For a short-term play, watch for upside above $64.72 or downside below $62.75.
SolarEdge Technologies ($SEDG) – A Steady Climb
SolarEdge keeps shining, albeit with a mix of good and not-so-good signals. On one hand, Alps Advisors reduced their stake, which isn’t exactly a confidence booster. On the other, Q1 2025 revenue was up 7.4% year-over-year. Somebody’s still growing! ☀️
Analysts are a bit divided, but the ones who like SolarEdge really like SolarEdge, with upgraded price targets setting the stage for positive vibes. Everyone loves an optimist, right? For this week, key levels to watch are $26.40 on the upside and $26.10 for downside risks.
While SolarEdge may not be the most exciting stock on this list, it’s worth a second (or third) look if you’re betting on renewable energy’s long-term growth.
That’s a wrap, Stock Region family! If any of these companies spark your interest, add them to your watchlist and double-check those key levels. Happy investing, and as always, take care of yourself and your portfolio. 🌟
