Hey Stock Region Crew,
Welcome to your daily watchlist! It was a wild one today, with some serious moves across the board. Before we dive in, remember the golden rule: This is for informational and entertainment purposes only. I’m just a guy sharing what’s on my radar. This is NOT financial advice, so please do your own research before making any trades.
Now, let’s get to the good stuff.
$LAC - Lithium Americas: Lithium is the future, and $LAC is right in the thick of it. They put out a statement today confirming they’re in talks with the Department of Energy and GM about drawing funds from that big DOE loan for their Thacker Pass project. This feels like a “hurry up and wait” situation, but any positive movement on funding for a project this massive is a big deal. I’m keeping a very close eye on this one. Progress here could be a major catalyst.
$JZXN - Jiuzi Holdings, Inc.: Well, this one came out of left field. Jiuzi just announced their board is letting them invest up to a whopping $1 BILLION in crypto assets. This comes right after appointing a new COO. It’s a bold, almost crazy move. Is this a genius pivot or a desperate gamble? The market seems intrigued, but this much exposure to crypto volatility is a high-risk, high-reward play. Definitely one to watch for fireworks.
$IVDA - Iveda: Following the crypto theme, Iveda also announced they’re adopting cryptocurrency as part of their treasury strategy. It’s not on the billion-dollar scale of $JZXN, but it shows a trend of smaller companies looking for alternative ways to manage their cash. It’s a forward-thinking move that could attract a new class of investors.
$RCT - RocTool: Joining the NVIDIA Connect program is a solid move for any tech company. For $RCT, this is all about their mission to create a “new operating system for global trade.” Getting in with a giant like NVIDIA lends them a ton of credibility and access to powerful resources. This is a great long-term foundational piece of news.
$TNFA -> $QCLS - Q/C Technologies: Big changes for TNF Pharmaceuticals. They’re rebranding to Q/C Technologies and changing their ticker to $QCLS. The reason? A strategic shift to “Quantum Class Photonic Computing.” This is a pivot from pharma to deep tech. Rebrands can be messy, but if they have the tech to back up a name like that, it could be a whole new ballgame for the company.
$ATCH - AtlasClear Holdings: Money talks. $ATCH just secured another $2 million in funding, led by two of their own board members. This completes a $5 million round. When insiders are putting their own cash in, it’s a huge vote of confidence. They believe in the company’s direction, and that’s a signal worth paying attention to.
$TZUP - Thumzup®: A $10 million share repurchase program is almost always good news for shareholders. It shows that the company’s management thinks the stock is undervalued and is willing to put its money where its mouth is. This can reduce the number of outstanding shares and potentially boost the stock price. It’s a sign of strength from $TZUP.
$IDAI - T Stamp Inc.: Any time a small company gets mentioned in a brief by a behemoth like Intel, you have to take notice. Intel published an AI-focused brief that covers its partnership with Trust Stamp. This is massive validation for $IDAI’s technology and puts them on a much bigger stage. This is the kind of PR you can’t buy.
$IMRX - Immuneering: This is the kind of news that gives you goosebumps. An 86% overall survival rate at 9 months for first-line pancreatic cancer patients is just incredible. The data is for their Atebimetinib + mGnP treatment. Pancreatic cancer is notoriously brutal, so these results are truly extraordinary and a huge potential breakthrough. This is more than just a stock; it’s about real hope.
$OFAL - OFA: Buzzword alert! OFA is dropping AI, Web3, and “Real World Asset” (RWA) platforms all in one sentence. They’re building on their QikBIM launch to create a platform for real estate equity and mortgages. It’s ambitious and taps into all the hot sectors right now. Can they pull it off? That’s the million-dollar question.
$SFIX - Stitch Fix: Mixed bag here from Stitch Fix’s earnings. Revenue was down year-over-year, but up if you adjust the timeframe. The key takeaway for me is that revenue per active client grew 3% to $549, and their gross margin expanded. This tells me they are successfully getting more money from their existing customers, even if they aren’t growing their total user base. It’s a sign they’re focusing on efficiency and profitability, which isn’t a bad strategy in this market.
That’s a wrap for today! What a mix of tech, biotech, and bold corporate moves. Keep your charts clean and your stop losses set.
