Stock Region Watchlist: The Crypto Craze Returns
Good morning, everyone, and welcome to your Tuesday watchlist. What a wild Monday it was. If you thought the market was running out of steam, think again. The big theme I'm seeing is a full-on resurgence of the crypto treasury play. It feels like every other company is announcing a plan to buy Bitcoin, Worldcoin, or even Dogecoin. This strategy is a high-risk, high-reward move that can send stocks into the stratosphere or bring them crashing down. Let's see who's making waves.
On top of the crypto madness, we're also seeing some huge moves in the biotech and AI sectors. It’s a target-rich environment, so let's dive into the tickers you need to watch today.
The Crypto Brigade
$OCTO - Eightco Holdings Inc.: This one is an absolute monster. Eightco announced a massive $250 million private placement to kick off the world's first Worldcoin (WLD) Treasury Strategy. As if that wasn't enough, they tacked on a $20 million strategic investment from BitMine ($BMNR). This is a huge, bold bet on Worldcoin. A quarter-billion-dollar placement signals serious institutional belief. This could be a major multi-day runner, but expect extreme volatility.
$RECT - Rectitude Holdings: Not to be outdone, Rectitude is jumping on the Bitcoin train. They announced a $32.6 million Standby Equity Purchase Agreement specifically to launch a Bitcoin Treasury Strategy. We saw this news hit pre-market when the stock was at $6.69, and it traded down to the $3.64 range later. This shows the market is trying to find the right price for these crypto plays. Keep an eye on its support levels today.
$ZONE - CleanCore Solutions: This might be the most surprising move of the day. CleanCore announced it acquired 285.4 million DOGE with the goal of hitting 1 billion DOGE in its treasury within 30 days. Yes, you read that right—Dogecoin. It’s a bold, almost meme-level play that is guaranteed to attract attention from retail traders. This one is pure speculation and could go either way, fast.
Big Tech & AI Movers
$NBIS - Nebius: Holy smokes! This is the kind of contract that changes a company forever. Nebius secured an up to $19.4 BILLION, 5-year GPU infrastructure contract with Microsoft. This is a monumental deal that locks in a massive revenue stream with one of the biggest companies in the world. This news dropped after hours, and I expect a massive gap up this morning. This is my top watch for a potential blue-sky breakout.
$BMR - Beamr: Riding the AI wave, Beamr will be demonstrating its 4K quality enhancement with NVIDIA Holoscan for Media. Any association with NVIDIA is golden right now, and a live demonstration could generate significant buzz and prove their tech's value. This is a classic "show me, don't tell me" catalyst.
$ARAI - Arrive AI: Arrive AI announced a $10 million share repurchase program. This is a classic sign of confidence from management. They believe their shares are undervalued and are willing to put their money where their mouth is. It also reduces the float, which can help drive the price up. A solid confidence signal.
$VCIG - VCI Global: VCI Global is showcasing its integrated AI and cybersecurity platforms at the Smart City Expo. This is a great PR opportunity to get their products in front of potential clients. The stock is currently trading under $1, so any positive news or contract announcements from this event could lead to a significant percentage gain.
Biotech on the Brink of Breakthroughs
$BDRX - Biodexa: This is a huge milestone. Biodexa has officially moved into Phase 3 with its drug eRapa for FAP, with the first patients already enrolled. They are on track to be the first mover in a $7 billion addressable market that currently has zero therapeutic options. Phase 3 is the final step before seeking FDA approval, making this a critical and potentially lucrative stage for the company.
$COCP - Cocrystal Pharma: Cocrystal received FDA IND clearance for a study of its oral antiviral, CDI-988. This drug is a potential first-of-its-kind treatment and preventative for Norovirus. Anyone who's had Norovirus knows how badly a treatment is needed. This clearance is a major step forward.
$XAIR - Beyond Air: More FDA news! NeuroNOS (related to XAIR) was granted Orphan Drug Designation for Glioblastoma, the deadliest form of brain cancer. This designation provides incentives for development and can fast-track the approval process. Later in the day, XAIR also announced the exercise of warrants for $3.25 million, shoring up their cash position.
$LXRX - Lexicon Pharmaceuticals: Lexicon has submitted additional data to the FDA for its Type 1 Diabetes drug, Zynquista®. This shows they are actively working with the FDA to get this drug across the finish line. Positive correspondence from the FDA could be a major catalyst.
