Morning Watchlist: The Market is Buzzing

Good morning, Stock Region fam!

What a morning it's been. The pre-market is buzzing, and we're seeing some fascinating moves across the board, especially in biotech and a surprising resurgence of crypto-related plays. Let's dive into what's catching my eye today.

The Crypto Crew is Back in Town

Remember when every other company was pivoting to crypto? It feels like we're getting a little taste of that again.

$HOTH - Hoth Therapeutics: This is a wild one. Hoth just announced they're expanding their treasury to include Ethereum and Solana, with the option to buy up to $1M in BTC, ETH, and/or SOL. It's a bold move for a biopharma company and screams that they see digital assets as a legitimate treasury tool. Is it a genius hedge against inflation or a desperate cry for attention? The market will decide, but it’s definitely got my attention.
$AGAE - Allied Gaming & Entertainment: Following the trend, Allied Gaming is also jumping into the crypto pool with a strategic investment in Bitcoin and Ethereum. This makes a bit more sense given their gaming and entertainment focus, where digital currencies are becoming more integrated. Still, two in one morning makes you wonder if a new sector-wide trend is brewing.
$GEMI - Gemini IPO: Speaking of crypto, the Winklevoss twins' creation, Gemini, is set to IPO today. This could be a huge event for the crypto market. With a global presence in over 60 countries, this IPO will be a major test of investor appetite for crypto platforms. I’ll be watching this one like a hawk right from the opening bell.

Biotech Movers & Shakers

Now, for our bread and butter. The biotech sector is never dull, and today is no exception.

$DTIL - Precision BioSciences: They presented positive data from their Phase 1 trial for a Hepatitis B treatment. Early-stage data, yes, but "eliminating" HBV is a powerful goal. Any positive step in this direction is significant. One to keep on the long-term radar.
$PLRZ - Polyrizon: Successful intranasal delivery for an allergy blocker. As someone whose allergies go crazy this time of year, I'm personally rooting for this one. It sounds simple, but effective delivery is half the battle in medicine. A nice piece of news for them.
$COCP - Cocrystal Pharma: They're showcasing an oral antiviral for the norovirus. If you've ever had norovirus, you know it's the stuff of nightmares. An effective oral treatment would be a game-changer. This is a big deal and a great podium presentation for them.
$PRPH - ProPhase Labs: Stockholders approved all proposals with a massive >75% vote. This signals strong internal confidence and shareholder alignment. It might not be headline-grabbing news, but it's the kind of foundational stability you like to see.
$IFRX - InflaRx: They've regained compliance with Nasdaq's minimum bid price. Phew! This is a sigh of relief for current holders. Getting back over that $1 hurdle removes the immediate delisting threat and lets the company get back to focusing on its business.

The Big Mysteries

And now for the ones that make you go "hmmm..."

$ELBM - Electra: A term sheet for C$17.5 million from Ontario for their cobalt refinery. This is huge. Government backing is a massive vote of confidence and helps de-risk the project significantly. With the EV and battery markets roaring, securing the North American supply chain for cobalt is critical. This is a major strategic win for Electra.
$KOPN - Kopin Corporation: This is the most exciting one of the day for me. Volume is spiking, and the company is teasing a "major announcement" about redefining "warfighter vision." This kind of cryptic marketing is either going to be a massive hit or a huge flop. With language like "countdown begins," they are building hype masterfully. I'm strapped in and ready to see what they've got. This could be explosive.
