First, the important stuff: The information in this newsletter is for informational and entertainment purposes only. It is not financial advice. Please do your own research and consult with a licensed financial professional before making any investment decisions. Trading stocks, especially low-float and small-cap stocks, is incredibly risky. Never invest more than you are willing to lose.
What a day it was. We saw some interesting moves, some head-scratchers, and a few that have me genuinely intrigued for tomorrow. Let's break down the news that caught my eye.
The Watchlist
$LUMN - Lumen Technologies: Lumen is teaming up with Palantir to bring AI to the telecom space. This is a classic "big name partnership" catalyst. Palantir is a giant in the data and AI world, so seeing them work with Lumen could generate some serious buzz. I'm watching this to see if the market gives it legs. It's a significant development that could reshape their operations.
$BBLG - Bone Biologics: The CEO put out a letter to stockholders. Typically, these letters are meant to build confidence and lay out the future. It’s worth a look to understand management's vision, especially if you're already holding or considering a position. I'll be looking for specific milestones and timelines mentioned.
$MOBX - Mobix Labs: This one popped up with news of an AI drone contract. Drones, AI, and infrastructure are all hot sectors. Landing a contract is a tangible win, unlike some of the more speculative news we see. The price was around $1.22 when the news dropped. This feels like it has potential, given the markets it's breaking into.
$DFLI - Dragonfly Energy: They secured a patent for their charge control technology. Patents are a big deal. They protect a company's innovations and can create a long-term competitive advantage. This adds a layer of defense to their business model and could be a key value driver down the road.
$SNGX - Soligenix: A publication came out detailing the high-temperature stability of their protein subunit vaccines for viruses like Ebola. This is highly technical, but the key takeaway is "stability." A vaccine that doesn't require extreme cold storage is a massive logistical advantage, especially in developing nations. It’s a powerful feature that the market might be underestimating.
$NLSP - NLS Pharmaceutics: NLS and Kadimastem announced a Hong Kong patent for their diabetes cell-selection tech. Another patent play, this time in the massive diabetes market. International patents are crucial for global expansion, so this is a solid step forward for them.
$PPBT - Purple Biotech: They released new data on their tri-specific antibody, IM1240. The market seemed to like this news, with the stock seeing some movement. Biotech is all about data, and positive results are the fuel that powers these stocks. I’m keeping an eye on this one for continued momentum.
$NAOV - NanoVibronix: A U.S. patent was granted for real-time imaging overlay technology. This is related to their partner company, ENvue Medical. It’s a bit of an indirect catalyst, but a patent win within their ecosystem is still a net positive.
$CCCC - C4 Therapeutics: Guggenheim hit this with a Buy rating and an $8 price target. The stock was sitting around $2.62. That’s a massive potential upside according to their analysis. Analyst upgrades like this can bring a lot of new eyes and buying pressure to a stock. We'll see if the market agrees with their bold prediction.
$DLTH - Duluth Holdings: What an earnings report! They beat estimates on both the top and bottom lines, absolutely crushing the earnings per share consensus. Sales were down slightly year-over-year, which is something to note, but the profitability beat is the real headline here. This is a strong performance.
$NVVE - Nuvve Holding Corp.: Looks like Nuvve is in a fight to stay on the Nasdaq. They are requesting a hearing to appeal a delisting determination letter. This is a tough spot for any company. The uncertainty can weigh heavily on the stock price. This is a high-risk, headline-driven situation.
$ISPC - iSpecimen: This is a wild one. iSpecimen announced plans to establish a $200M corporate treasury using the Solana cryptocurrency. This is a bold, unconventional move. Tying your treasury to a volatile asset like crypto will make some investors excited and others extremely nervous. This company just became a must-watch, for better or for worse.
$SPWH - Sportsman's Warehouse: Their earnings were pretty much in line with expectations. They met the loss-per-share estimate and slightly beat on sales. No huge surprises here, which can sometimes be a good thing. The market often prefers predictability over negative surprises.
That’s a wrap for today! Lots to digest and even more to watch for tomorrow. Stay sharp and trade smart.
