What a day it’s been. The market is a wild beast, and yesterday was no exception. We saw some fascinating moves, from major biotech collaborations to a head-scratching deal in the tech space. Let’s break down the tickers that have our full attention.
$JANX - Janux Therapeutics
Well, this is the kind of news you love to wake up to. Janux announced a major collaboration and license agreement with none other than Bristol Myers Squibb ($BMY). This isn’t just a small-time partnership; it’s a “worldwide exclusive” deal to develop a new therapy for solid tumors. When a giant like BMY puts its name and money behind a smaller player like JANX, you have to pay attention. This could be a massive validation of Janux’s technology. We’re watching this one closely for follow-through momentum. What a way to start the day.
$VVPR - VivoPower
AI isn’t just about chips; it’s about power. A lot of power. VivoPower just made a huge move by acquiring OGDC to secure 291MW of powered sites in Finland. The keyword here is “Sovereign AI Data Centers.” With countries getting serious about data security and AI infrastructure, this looks like a very strategic play. Even better, they’re getting that power for less than 4 cents per kWh. In a world where energy costs can make or break a data center’s profitability, this is a massive advantage. VVPR is plugging directly into the AI infrastructure boom. Definitely on the radar.
$MOVE - Movella
Speaking of AI, Movella’s subsidiary, Corvex, just secured a long-term deployment of NVIDIA’s top-tier H200 GPUs. This is a big deal. Getting your hands on these high-performance chips from NVIDIA is no easy task right now. This tells us Corvex is serious about its AI capabilities and has the connections to make it happen. They’re using these GPUs to support AI workloads for battery tech. It’s a fascinating intersection of AI and energy solutions. We’re keen to see how this translates to their bottom line.
$PSQH - PublicSq.
Here’s one that’s more about politics than fundamentals, but money is money. PSQ Impact has been chosen as the digital fundraising platform for the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library. Regardless of your political views, associating with a name that commands that level of attention is bound to bring in eyeballs and transaction volume. This could be a significant revenue stream and a major marketing win for PSQH. We’ll be watching to see if this partnership translates into a sustained boost for the stock.
$NITO - NRx Pharmaceuticals
Back to biotech. NRx’s subsidiary, MitoCareX Bio, released some promising preliminary data. They’ve shown their platform can inhibit pro-inflammatory responses in human immune cells. It’s still early days (”preliminary in vitro data”), but this is the kind of breadcrumb that gets biotech investors excited. Early-stage data can be a gamble, but positive results are the first step on the path to something much bigger. We’re keeping NITO on a speculative watch.
$PLUR - Pluri Inc.
Pluri announced the successful completion of the first phase of its program for placenta-derived collagen. Collagen is a hot market, used in everything from cosmetics to medical treatments. Deriving it from placenta is a unique angle, and completing this phase is a key milestone. It shows progress and execution. We’ll be waiting for more news on the next steps, but it’s a positive development for a company in a competitive space.
$SOPA - Society Pass
This one requires a bit of unpacking. SOPA is buying a large chunk of a Singaporean company called Gorilla Networks. The deal structure is... creative. They’re paying with some cash and a large block of shares they own in another company, NusaTrip. It’s a complicated transaction that seems to involve moving a lot of pieces around. While the company is expanding its holdings, the complexity of the deal makes us a bit cautious. We’re watching from the sidelines for now to see how this all shakes out and what the ultimate strategy is.
That’s a wrap for today’s watchlist. It’s a market of big ideas and bold moves. Stay sharp, do your homework, and be ready for anything.
Happy trading!
